Visit to DEVNET Tokyo

Japan, July 2013 - Mr. Arsenio Rodriguez, Secretary of the BoD of DEVNET International and Mr. Tony Morrow - Executive Director of DEVNET China and DEVNET International Board member - recently visited the DEVNET office in Tokyo, Japan.  The visit was to build cooperation with the Tokyo team for international projects.  DEVNET China has been authorized for a UNDP project in Nicaragua, with the first visit to meet the President and President’s Cabinet during the week of August 12th, 2013.  The Tokyo team will be involved with companies from their area in future visits for the project in Nicaragua this year.  DEVNET China and DEVNET Tokyo are cooperating on the development of several projects, for example an agricultural project in the country of Laos.

During the visit, Mr Rodriguez and Mr. Morrow met with Mr. Fumiyasu Akegawa the CEO of DEVNET Tokyo and members of his team; President Eiichi Shindo of the International Society for Asian Community; Dr. Hideo Smaura, researcher for Advanced Industrial Science and Technology (AIST), Dr. Kazuo Takahashi the Chairman of Great East Japan Earthquake and former member of the United Nations; Mr. Ogami Hiroaki, Senior Advisor of Japan Frozen Foods Inspection Corporation; Mr. Katsuei Hirasawa, Member of the House of Representatives of the National Parliament of Japan; Mr. Kunihito Kawano, Secretary to Mr. Mashahiro Koumura, Member of the House of Representatives; Takeshi Nishiyama, Executive Secretary to the Prime Minister; Mashiro Ueda, Secretary to Masahiko Komura, member of House of Representatives; and Katsutoshi Hirano, Secretary to Yasutoshi Nishimura, member of House of Representatives.
