China, September 2013 - Mr. Tony Morrow, Board Member of DEVNET International, and Director General of DEVNET China in Beijing, was a key-note speaker at the 2013 China International Agricultural Cooperation Forum. Mr. Morrow spoke of United Nations Development Programme for Nicaragua/China Agricultural Initiative that Mr. Morrow and Dr. Arsenio Rodriguez developed and was awarded a United Nations Project in December 2012.

Mr. Morrow spoke on the success of the first trip to Nicaragua with a group of Chinese Business owners and Company Representatives, who met with the Prime Minister and Ministers of different government departments. What started as a plan for agricultural cooperation between China and Nicaragua has now grown to a large comprehensive program that includes agriculture, manufacturing, mining, hydro and solar power stations, food processing and exports to China, from trade free and tax free zones.

Mr. Morrow invited all China enterprises that are interested in being considered for participation in this UN project to contact the Beijing office for more information. The second trip of China businessmen to Nicaragua is scheduled to take place in November 2013.
